The Ratings
Taste
The majority of buyers love the taste of Quest bars, especially if you microwave them before eating. However there are also a significant amount of reviews that did not like them at all. With that being said, it’s up to you to find out if you’re pro or con Quest. Quest does seem to have the best Marketing compared to other brands, because they are all over the place and apparently selling really good.
Texture
All bars have a chewy texture. The bars itself tend to stick to the wrapper at first. No chocolate coatings, which keeps the nutritional profile cleaner.
Ingredients
The very short list of ingredients speaks for itself. Very clean profile without any questionable ingredients or fillers. Very low in fat and sugars. Some flavors have sugar alcohols, so watch out for those. Sodium is a little higher than average. The All Natural line does not use artificial sweeteners, but Stevia.
Price
At $2.79 per bar at retail, Quest Bars are not cheap, but it comes with 20g of protein and an outstanding nutritional profile.
These bars are not good, in my opinion. They taste awful and have sugar alcohols.
I don’t really understand why US-bloggers are all about these bars. Some flavors taste great but some other flavors are just meh. When I hear some people saying they eat 3-4 of these bars a day, I wonder how they don’t get any digestive issues with all that fiber!
